How to add it
- Paste the code where you want the badge, for example your footer or your contact page.
- WordPress: add a “Custom HTML” block. Wix: Add → Embed code → Embed HTML. Squarespace: add a “Code” block. Shopify: a “Custom Liquid” section.
- Save and check that the badge opens your listing.
What the code does
It is one link and one small image (under 1 KB) hosted on PuertoRico.com. There is no script, no cookie and no tracking pixel, so it won’t slow your site down. It points to your listing’s regular address.

Is the badge free?
Yes. Any business listed on PuertoRico.com can use it, on a free or paid plan.
Do I need to claim my listing first?
No. Unclaimed listings get the plain badge. Once your claim is approved, come back here and copy the code again to get the Verified badge.
Does the badge change where my listing appears?
No. Adding the badge doesn’t change your listing’s position in the directory. It gives your visitors a quick way to see your listing.
Can I change the size?
Yes. Edit the width and height in the code, keeping the same proportions. The image is a vector, so it stays sharp.
Something on my listing is wrong.
Open your listing and use “Suggest an edit”, or claim it and edit the details yourself.
