Non-fungible token refers to a digital file with an ownership value that can be sold. Although NFTs can be music or drawings, they are mostly a form of digital art.

NFTs are usually sold and traded in a blockchain, a type of database that stores information on transactions between users and computers, and isn’t dependent on a specific entity to monitor those transactions and keep the database secure.
