Separate Carolina and Canóvanas appeal
On the previous day, police issued a different appeal for a suspect wanted in two armed incidents in the Carolina and Canóvanas area. El Nuevo Día reported that the first event took place on Aug. 29 in front of the Burlington store at Plaza Escorial in Carolina, where a woman was robbed of her purse containing personal documents through threats with a firearm.
A second incident was reported on Sept. 26 at a Gulf gas station on PR-185 in Canóvanas, in which the same individual allegedly attempted to rob an employee using similar threats. Where the sources differ
Both sources report separate police appeals for public help in identifying different suspects. Telemundo Puerto Rico’s article, published Nov. 4, concerns a property-damage and theft case at a Bayamón beauty salon on Oct. 22 with an approximate loss of $4,750.80 and provides two phone numbers for tips. The cases, locations, dates and suspect descriptions do not overlap.
What the reports do not say
The reports do not provide a physical description, age or any identifying features of the Bayamón salon suspect. It is not stated whether surveillance images exist or have been released for that case. Neither article mentions any arrests, recovered property, insurance details or the next investigative steps beyond the public appeals.
