All-Inclusive Resorts in Puerto Rico (2026): What's Actually Available

Puerto Rico has almost no true all-inclusives. The one 2026 all-inclusive package we confirmed, a full-board meal plan, and the closest alternatives.

· Every plan and offer below was checked on the property's own website on Oct 8, 2026

Quick answer

  • Puerto Rico has almost no true all-inclusive resorts. We found no property here that publishes one rate covering unlimited food, alcoholic drinks and activities, the way resorts in Punta Cana or Cancún do.
  • The only package sold as "all-inclusive" that we could confirm is at Parador MaunaCaribe, a small beachfront inn in Maunabo on the south-east coast. It covers three meals a day with soft drinks, plus tips and room tax. It doesn't include alcohol.
  • Closest resort option: Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa (Guánica) sells a full-board meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Big-name resorts sell credits, not all-inclusive plans. Wyndham Grand Rio Mar and Wyndham Palmas offer dining or resort credits. El Conquistador says plainly that it isn't all-inclusive.
  • If unlimited drinks are a must, the Dominican Republic is the nearest destination that does all-inclusive at scale. See Puerto Rico vs. the Dominican Republic.

What "all-inclusive" means in Puerto Rico

Resorts use three different things under the same word, and the difference decides your budget:

1. Parador MaunaCaribe (Maunabo): the one confirmed all-inclusive package

A small beachfront parador (country inn) on the Caribbean coast in Maunabo, with an infinity pool and an on-site restaurant and bar. It's close to the Punta Tuna lighthouse. Its own booking site offers an "All inclusive" stay option next to Bed & Breakfast. The All-Inclusive Family Offer is a 3-day, 2-night stay that includes:

  • American breakfast with coffee and juice
  • Lunch with a soft drink
  • Dinner with a soft drink and dessert
  • Waiter tips and room taxes

What it isn't: alcohol isn't listed in the package, and this is a simple inn, not a full-service resort. It's a good fit for a budget family or couple who want to stop thinking about meals for a weekend. → Official site

2. Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa (Guánica): full-board meal plan

The closest thing to an all-inclusive resort on the island. Copamarina sits on the calm south-west coast beside the Guánica dry forest, with a private beach, pools and a spa. Its Deluxe Meal Plan adds breakfast, lunch and dinner with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks: $116 per adult and $60 per child, per night (published on the resort's specials page, checked Oct 8, 2026). Taxes and tips are extra, alcohol isn't included, and the plan isn't available to groups. → Copamarina specials

3. Wyndham Grand Rio Mar (Río Grande): credits, not all-inclusive

Rio Mar is the resort most often called "Puerto Rico's all-inclusive" online, but its own offers page (checked Oct 8, 2026) lists no all-inclusive or full-board plan. What it does sell:

  • Dining Package: a $100 nightly dinner credit, available until December 23, 2026.
  • Endless Summer: fifth night free on a five-night stay, a $100 daily resort credit, a $50 El Yunque tour credit and one Xplorers Club activity, for stays through December 31, 2026. Credits can't be used for taxes, the resort fee or tips.

For families, the daily resort fee includes the Turtle Cove Adventure Slides and splash pool, and children 5 and under eat free at three of the resort's restaurants with an adult. → Rio Mar offers · Resort fee details

4. Wyndham Palmas (Humacao): dining-credit packages

A quieter golf and beach resort inside Palmas del Mar. Its offers page lists a 25%-off package with a $50 dining credit per room, per night, and a 4th-night-free offer with a $100 food and beverage credit (stays through December 31, 2026). Neither is all-inclusive: you pay for anything above the credit. → Wyndham Palmas offers

5. El Conquistador (Fajardo): self-contained, but not all-inclusive

If what you want from an all-inclusive is not having to leave, El Conquistador comes close in a different way. It has its own water park and a private island for guests, and the resort is open only to guests and members. But its own FAQ says it is not an all-inclusive resort; meals and drinks are paid as you go. → El Conquistador FAQ

Often listed as all-inclusive, but not confirmed for 2026

  • Wyndham Grand Rio Mar "all-inclusive plan": several blogs describe one, but the resort's official offers page shows only breakfast, dining-credit and resort-credit packages. A page at `grandriomar.com` advertising "24 hour All Inclusive" isn't the resort's site (it mentions a golf club in Playa Mujeres, Mexico).
  • El Conquistador "all-inclusive package": sold by some tour operators under the resort's old Waldorf Astoria name; the resort's own FAQ says it isn't all-inclusive.
  • Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve: "all-inclusive" claims appear only on third-party booking sites; the tour-operator "all meals" package we found was sold out and listed breakfast only.
  • Parador Palmas de Lucía (Yabucoa): its all-inclusive family offer is still listed on some directory pages, but its page on the operator's site no longer loads, so we couldn't confirm it for 2026.
  • Combate Beach Resort (Cabo Rojo): its "all-inclusive" packages are for meetings and group events, not vacation stays.

How to check what a package really includes

  • Open the property's own offers page and read the inclusions and terms, not an online travel agency's headline.
  • Look for the word "unlimited" next to "beverages" or "alcoholic." If it isn't there, drinks aren't included.
  • Check what's excluded: taxes (Puerto Rico's room tax and 11.5% sales tax), tips, the resort fee and parking are usually extra.
  • Ask about children: kids' meals are priced separately on most plans.
  • Be honest about how you'll eat. Puerto Rico's food scene is a big reason to visit, so a meal plan you keep skipping costs you twice.

Frequently asked questions

Are there all-inclusive resorts in Puerto Rico?

Not in the Caribbean sense of unlimited food, drinks and activities for one price. The only package sold as all-inclusive that we could confirm for 2026 is Parador MaunaCaribe's meals-and-soft-drinks package in Maunabo.

Which Puerto Rico resort is closest to all-inclusive?

Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa in Guánica, whose Deluxe Meal Plan covers breakfast, lunch and dinner with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. Alcohol, taxes and tips are extra.

Is Wyndham Grand Rio Mar all-inclusive?

No. On Oct 8, 2026 its official offers were breakfast, dining-credit and resort-credit packages, not an all-inclusive plan.

Is El Conquistador all-inclusive?

No. The resort's own FAQ says it is not an all-inclusive resort.

Why doesn't Puerto Rico have more all-inclusives?

The island's tourism is built around going out: Old San Juan, the restaurants, El Yunque, the bio bays and the offshore islands. Resorts here sell meal plans and credits instead of one all-in price. — compare places to stay in San Juan when a meal plan is not enough.

Where is the nearest true all-inclusive destination?

The Dominican Republic. It's international travel, while Puerto Rico needs no passport for U.S. citizens. Compare them in Puerto Rico vs. the Dominican Republic.
