Because of the distance between Utuado and San Juan, there are not any tour agencies that offer pick-up in San Juan.
There are usually meeting spots these agencies offer but it has to be near the Tanamá River area.
This activity is best if you’re staying in Puerto Rico for longer than a week and have a rental car with you.
Tanamá River trips are challenging, so people who want to go there should be in good shape.
