Selva Boutique Hotel
A small, adults-only boutique hotel on the oceanfront, with an oceanfront pool and sun deck. It says El Yunque and Playa Fortuna are minutes away. Book on its site or call (787) 988-3454.
The Serene House Bed & Breakfast
An adults-and-teens (16+) property at Carr. 984 km 1.8, Barrio Juan Martín, with poolside rooms, casitas and breakfast. Check-in is 4 p.m. and check-out 11 a.m. Read the cancellation policy: a one-night fee applies to cancellations up to 14 days before arrival, and 50 percent of the stay is charged within 14 days.
Fairfield by Marriott Luquillo Beach
At 110 Seaside Drive. Marriott lists an outdoor pool, a fitness center, an on-site casino, La Isla restaurant and the Cienx35 bar. A free hot breakfast runs 6:30 to 9 a.m. on weekdays and 7 to 10 a.m. on weekends. Parking costs $17 a day, and pets are welcome for a $75 non-refundable fee. Luquillo Sunrise Beach Inn

Casa Coral Hostel
A hostel with shared rooms (some mixed, some for women only) and private rooms. It says it is minutes from El Yunque and offers surf lessons, paddleboarding, yoga classes and island boat tours.
