This is the most magical thing that you can do in Puerto Rico.
Bioluminescent Bays are naturally occurring bays that have a very high concentration of bioluminescent plankton. When you disturb the water, these plankton emit light.
This creates a magical effect that only exists in a few locations worldwide, and Puerto Rico has three of them.
Booking a bio bay kayaking tour is the perfect way for couples to enjoy the experience together.

Beach dates are always a good idea, but Flamenco Beach is on a whole other level.
There’s a water taxi that takes you to Culebra, where you’ll find the whitest sands and bluest waters Puerto Rico has to offer.
Visiting here is at least a one-day event, so make sure to set aside enough time to really enjoy one of the best beaches in the world.

Located in Ponce, the Serrallés Castle Museum is a relaxing place to spend the day with your partner.
You can take a tour of the historic castle, the Japanese garden, the giant cross monument, and their butterfly garden.
My favorite part is the castle gardens, visible from the back balconies.

My favorite is Hacienda Buena Vista in Ponce, with both coffee and cacao farms.
It offers a full tour of 19th-century farming in Puerto Rico, complete with shops where you can buy products to bring home with you.
